My name is Santosh Gauli, and I am a Freelance/Independent Mountain Guide in Nepal. I have been successfully leading trekking & tours in the Himalayas & Cultural city of Nepal since 2002 from various well-established trekking and travel companies/agencies in Kathmandu. I’ve also trained with the Ministry of Tourism as a high altitude medical training from the NATHAM. Many Guides and Porters working with trekking Companies are not paid fair salaries. That’s why I decided not to work with the company and became a Freelance guide.
