If you want to immerse you in a truly authentic Nepalese experience, We have put together for you a very special voyage. This trek is the longer and not a well-known route to the Mt. Everest Base Camp. This route will take you through breathtaking landscapes which are seen by only a few tourists. In Jiri, you will find less crowded lodges and have the opportunity to come up close and personal with the wonderful and friendly locals.
While most trekkers fly to Luka and start the journey to the Everest Base camp from there, we will start on foot at Jiri, following the footsteps of the first successful Mt Everest expeditions beginning with the expedition in 1922. You will enjoy the view of wide and beautiful forests, Buddhist temples and Sherpa villages.
This trek starts at 1,860 m above sea level and involves a slow but steady climb to give your body plenty of time to acclimatize. Eventually, we will reach the Everest Base Camp, then follow the classic route for the descent, finishing at Luka and taking the plane back to Kathmandu.
