Day by Day Itinerary

Upon your safe arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, I will personally arrange for airport pick-up services using a private vehicle. We'll transfer you from the airport to your hotel in a comfortable car or jeep, allowing you to rest and recover until evening. To extend a warm welcome to our guests, we will invite you to a local restaurant for a welcome dinner where we can discuss the country, culture, and trekking experience.

"Today is dedicated to exploring the city of Kathmandu. As the city is known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, our knowledgeable city guide will take you on a tour to some of the most popular temples. These include the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bauddhanath, Pashupati Hindu Temple, and Swayambhunath. After visiting these sights, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the diverse religious beliefs and cultures in Nepal.

Our driver and guide will then return you to your hotel. Before retiring for the evening, it is recommended that you double-check your trekking gear and equipment to ensure you have everything you need for your trek."

We will depart from Kathmandu early in the morning and begin our journey to Jiri. Along the way, we will pass through lush forests, quaint villages, and cross a few rivers. The long drive may be tiring, but it is a great opportunity to take in the breathtaking scenery and marvel at the unique sights. Once we arrive in Jiri, we can stay at a local lodge, explore the area, and enjoy a variety of culinary delights. Jiri is a pristine mountain city known as the Switzerland of Nepal and offers an unforgettable experience.

After a filling breakfast, we embark on our journey to Bhandara. The day starts with an ascent through lush forests and past traditional houses. As we climb the hills for a few hours, we reach the hilltop known as Deurali, where we stop for a delicious lunch while admiring the stunning mountain views and valleys. After lunch, we continue our descent to Bhadara, passing through fertile farmlands, dense forests, and massive mountain cliffs. Bhandara is a picturesque large village situated in the valley, where we will stay in local lodges and get a chance to savor local cuisine and interact with the locals.

The trek from Bhandara to Sete is a tranquil experience along the river, dotted with local houses and fields of rice and millet. Our first part of the trek is an easy and wide path that leads us over a small bridge to the other side of the hill. We then trek uphill for a while before gradually descending to Kinja, where we'll take a lunch break. After lunch, we embark on the more challenging part of the day as we follow a steep stone-made trail through the forest to reach Sete.

Sete is a small settlement with a few tea houses that offer food and lodging to trekkers. We will spend the night in the local tea house and experience the hospitality of the locals."

Shortly after leaving Sete, we will reach Gaium, which is situated atop a cliff in the middle of a lush forest. From there, we will ascend through the fine forest to Lamjura, the highest pass below Namche Bazaar. After that, we will trek steeply down to Toktok and then take a short, easy, gradual walk to the beautiful village of Junbesi. Here, you can explore the colorful Gompas, farmland, and traditional architecture of the Sherpa people. We will stay one night in a lodge in Junbesi.

Today's trek takes you along a scenic route that features ascents to the top of the mountain and then a descent to a suspension bridge. After crossing to the other side, you'll reach Ringmo, a charming Sherpa village with modern lodges and tea houses. The trek continues through the popular route to Tacsindo Sherpa village, situated atop a hill. The trail then leads you steeply downward through a dense forest and past a few local houses before reaching Nunthala. Nunthala is a large village with a mix of cultural ethnicities and a vibrant local community. We will spend the night in Nunthala, immersing ourselves in the local culture and experiencing the sights and sounds of the village.

Starting from Nunthala, our first trek of the day takes us on a steep descent through rice fields and forests to a towering suspension bridge spanning the Dudh Koshi river. The trail then leads us uphill to Khari Khola, passing by traditional houses and lush millet farmlands. A short walk from Khari Khola brings us to Bupsa, where we will spend the night in a comfortable lodge.

Bupsa is a quaint little village surrounded by rolling hills and verdant forests. As we rest and rejuvenate in the lodge, we can take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape and immerse ourselves in the local culture. This is a great opportunity to connect with the local community, learn about their customs and traditions, and gain a deeper understanding of the culture and history of this fascinating region."

Today, our destination is Surke. The trail takes us along majestic cliffs, offering breathtaking views of the other side of the hills and deep gorges. As we walk, we'll be treated to the stunning scenery and fresh mountain air. After around 3 to 4 hours of walking, we'll reach Chheubas, a small village at the edge of a mountain. From there, we'll take a short descent to Surke, a charming and quaint village that branches off into two different paths, one leading to Lukla and the other to Phakding.

Surke is a peaceful and serene place, surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills. It's the perfect spot to rest and recharge after a long day of trekking. We'll spend the night in a local lodge, where we'll be able to sample delicious local cuisine and enjoy the warm hospitality of the villagers."

Today, we embark on a journey to Phakding. The trek begins with a brief uphill climb along a picturesque valley and continues to Chheplung, a sprawling Sherpa village surrounded by flat farmland and dotted with schools, Gompas, and Mani walls. From Chheplung, we follow the winding path of the Dudh Koshi river, ascending gradually through ghat and Thado koshi before finally reaching the culturally rich and well-known trekker's hub of Phakding. Here, we'll spend the night in a local lodge, surrounded by the stunning mountain scenery.

Rewritten: The journey today starts with a leisurely trek along a straightforward path that leads to a long suspension bridge. You will then turn right and embark on an invigorating trek along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through villages such as Toktok, Banker, and Chuomo, and encountering local homes and some lodges along the way. Eventually, you will arrive in Monjo, a thriving Sherpa village with plenty of new lodgings for trekkers.

It is also the starting point of the Sagarmatha National Park, so you will need to purchase your park entrance ticket for the remainder of your journey in the Everest region. From Monjo, it's just a 15-minute walk to Jorsalle, a popular spot for lunch. After lunch, the trek continues along the river, culminating in a climb over the highest suspension bridge over the river. The final stretch of the day, a 2-hour trek, will take you to the picturesque Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar. With a stunning view of Mount Everest and many other white peaks, it is the perfect place to take a break and enjoy the facilities on offer.

Today is dedicated to acclimatization in Namche Bazar, a beautiful Sherpa town located at the heart of the Everest region. Surrounded by majestic mountains, Namche Bazar offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, including the mighty Mount Everest.

This day is important for your body to adjust to the changing altitude, which can sometimes cause altitude sickness. During this day, you are encouraged to take a light walk to nearby places like the National Park Museum, the Sherpa Culture Museum, or just stroll around the local market. You can also relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of the town, which is surrounded by the lush greenery of the forest and the panoramic views of the mountains.

Overall, this is a great opportunity to take a break from the trek, recharge your batteries and get ready for the next phase of your adventure.

Today's hike is a treat for the senses with breathtaking mountain views accompanying you every step of the way from the beginning to Sanasa and Kyanjuma. To the right of the trail lies a stunning deep gorge, while to the left lies a majestic mountain range. After reaching Sanasa, the trail descends gradually through a lush pine forest until you reach Funki Thanga, a popular lunch spot for trekkers.

Take some time to rest and enjoy a tea or lunch break before tackling the final 2-hour hike through the pine forest to Tyagboche. This stunning location on the edge of a mountain offers panoramic views of Mount Everest and the surrounding valley, including the largest and highest monastery in the Khumbu region.

Today, after breakfast, we embark on a journey towards Dingboche. The trek begins with a short descent to Deboche, followed by a scenic trail along the edge of the mountain to the Suspension Bridge over Imja Khola. The trail then gradually climbs to the Sherpa village of Pangboche, known for producing some of the best mountain climbers in the world. If time permits, we may stop here for a cup of tea. Afterwards, the trail continues along the Imja River, leading to an easy walk to Somare where we break for lunch. From Somare, we take a right trail before crossing a short bridge and embark on a short ascent to the hillside, finally reaching Dingboche.

Dingboche is a bustling settlement and an important stop for acclimatization during the trek, with many trekkers choosing to stay here for two nights. There are several trekking routes branching out from here, including the way to Chhukum and Island Peak, the left valley walk up to Lobuche, and the right trail to Ama Dablam.

Today is a day to allow your body to adjust to the high altitude of Dingboche. This is an important step in ensuring your overall well-being during the trek and helps prevent altitude sickness. You can take a leisurely stroll around the village, visit the nearby fields, or simply relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding mountains. Additionally, there are several other trekking routes you can explore such as a walk to Chhukum, a hike to Island Peak, a journey up the left valley to Lobuche, or a trek to the stunning Ama Dablam. The goal today is to take it easy and give your body the necessary time to acclimate to the altitude.

From Dingboche, after taking a break for two days, we are feeling refreshed and ready to continue our journey. Our next destination is Dhukla, which is reachable after a gentle walk through a wide valley for about 2 hours from Dingboche. It is the only place to stop for food on the way to Lobuche, so it is recommended to take a break here for food and acclimatization. The trail then takes a steep climb up to the Memorial Hill Station before leading us to the left valley and finally to Lobuche, where we will spend the night in a lodge.

With an early start from Lobuche, we set out on our journey. The trail ahead is a gentle ascent through the valley, leading us gradually uphill on a rocky path until we reach Gorakchep. Once we arrive, we will find a place to rest and refuel with a nourishing lunch. After lunch, we will venture forth with a light daypack to the mighty Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakchep. This is the highest point in our trek, so it is important to stay hydrated and keep your body warm for your well-being. A good night's rest will prepare us for the next leg of our journey.

Today, we embark on an early morning journey to the highly anticipated Kalapatthar viewpoint. This spot is renowned for its breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range, including a clear and panoramic view of Mount Everest. We will also be able to see other peaks such as the Khumbu glacier and ice-fall, making this a truly awe-inspiring experience.

After our morning spent at Kalapatthar, we will retrace our steps back to Gorakshep, where we will gather our belongings and embark on our descent towards Pheriche via the Lobuche and Dhugla trail. The breathtaking scenery and the memories of this journey will stay with us forever.

We begin our day with a hearty breakfast in Pheriche. We follow a small trail along the river, cross over it and then climb a small hill before gradually descending to Somare. Upon reaching Somare, we join the main trail and retrace our steps back to the bustling town of Namche Bazaar.

Today we begin our journey from Namche Bazaar back to Lukla, retracing our steps through the beautiful Sherpa villages and scenic trails we encountered on the way up. The trail leads us along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through local houses, inns and villages such as Toktok, Banker and Chuomo. Our walk will be a gradual descent, with the opportunity to admire the stunning mountain views one last time before reaching Lukla. This will be an exciting journey as we say goodbye to the mountains and prepare for our flight back to civilization.

Finally, after a successful trek, we take a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. This scenic flight offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, providing one last opportunity to admire the majestic mountains before saying goodbye to the trek and returning to the hustle and bustle of city life. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax and reflect on the memories you have made during your trek in the mountains.

Today marks the end of your wonderful journey in Nepal. After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport in time for your departure flight. It is time to say goodbye to this beautiful country and the memories you have made during your trek. Santosh always ensure our happiness. From being greeted at the airport. It was so nice to have everything organised and catered for as soon as we stepped foot in nepal. The trek was incredible. Santosh has stunning English and the friendliest, kindest personality. It was great to try the traditional mo:mo soup with him, definitely a highlight.

We trek to Everest base camp via Jiri at the begging it was great experience by bus and beautiful jiri. we trek about 7 days from Jiri to Lukla it was quite difficult to walk long hours uphill and down hill but we had really great views and walk through the house of local people. we trek to Everest base camp with out any problem all of us and Mr. Santosh who lead us perfectly everyday. once again if anybody looking for private individual guide try this guy he organize all your trips around Nepal.
