Gokyo trek and Island Peak Climbing is a best trekking route in everest region with lots of biodiversity. There is a big glacier called Khumbu glacier,which is expending from Lobuche to Everest base camp.After valley sightseeing in Kathmandu we take an exciting flight to Lukla and trek up to Namche through Sherpa village , Dudh Koshi river and pine forest along the way .After two days walking from Lukla you will Arrive at Namche bazaar which is a center place of upper Khumbu region to supply the goods and many needed things for the upper villages .when you are there at Namche you get to see the view of Mt. Everest, Amadablam, Thamserku, Kogde ,kusum kangaroo many more mountain that you can observe from Namche view point. The way up to base camp is not that hard to go but because of the altitude you really have to be in same pace to be safe for whole duration and along the way you can visit really a nice monasteries ,such as Tangbuche monastery, Pangbuche monastery, Debuche monastery etc. we continue trek to Pheriche and rest day is needed in Pheriche to be acclimatize and it helps you to be in base ca mp and to sleep at Ghorkshep,which is 5180mtr where we have to sleep one night.the view from Kalapather and base came is so gorgeous,than trek down to Dingbuche which is lower than Ghorakshep ,it means you can sleep easily ,and you have to be prepare for island peak which is 6100mtr .
Island Peak was the name given to the mountain in 1952 by Eric Shipton's who thought it to be reminiscent of an island in a sea of ice. It is also known as "Imja Tse" in Sherpa Name. It takes just 3 to 4 days from Dingbuche village to go there on top of island peak and back to Dingbuche with climbing guide. This is one of the adventurous trek include climb island peak.
This is twin in one trek cause is same time you are able to get the Everest base camp which is 5360mtr and of course island peak for fulfill your strong desire to be on top of island peak and island peak is not that difficult compare to other mountain in Everest region .the itinerary can be change cause there are many alternative trekking route.
DAY 1: Arrival Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer to hotel and tour and trek preparaion.
DAY 4: I
DAY 5: Trekto Dole ,It's is about 5 hours walking through pine forest, stupas and mountains around included 2 over 8000 mtr high mountains. over night at Dole.
ay 6: Trek to Machhermo (4400 mtr),
DAY 7: Trek to Gokyo (4750mtr), it is also easy walking becaue there is no climbing or steps along the way only gradual up which is not so hard only we need to be slow and need to keep same speed to be acclimatize the body with that environments and altitudes, after reaching at Gokyo valley you can visit massif glacier beside the gokyo hotels and big big lakes just infront of the hotel and mountains ,so it is really stunning place for food, view , accomodation for all its beautiful place. Over night at Gokyo.

What to take with you for trek:
As a guide myself since 14 years I give first priority to cloths which is most important in the cold mountain area. Equipment does matter to make your trek easy and comfortable. Carrying excessive quantity of trekking equipment doesn’t make your trip more interesting but the disadvantage. So, we request you to carry only selected and recommended iteams and we have our potential porters. Warm Clothes, Down Jacket, Trouser, T-shirt, Hiking Boot, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Knife, Walking Steak, day back pack, Head Light, Sleeping Bag etc. These are the equipment's which you most carry during the trek.
• Liner socks, Trekking shirts short sleeve,
• Thermal underwear, fleece sweaters lightweight,
• one heavier Easy drying long sleeved base layer shirts,
• Woolen blends trekking socks, pair trekking pants with zip off bottoms
• Down vest, wind/rain proof over layer - jacket and pants,
• Peak hat, headband, Warm winter hat, lightweight thermal layer hat,
• Pair gloves, down jacket,
• Pair down booties Great for keeping feet warm in tent and while sleeping and for in the tent. Pair flips flops, it is practice.
Best Season to Trek in Nepal:
Autumn (September - November) and Spring (March - May) is the best trekking season for the trekking and mountaineering in Nepal Because by that time the Weather is mostly clear and temperature is moderate which offers magic view of snow cap mountains and valley each day. Spring Season is such a beautiful time to see many different flowers, plants and rare animals especially Rhododendron flower along the way is the major attraction. Walking and trekking is also very suitable during this season.
Summer (June - August) and winter (December - February). This season provides a different scenic views each hours unpredictable weather ,heavy monsoon rainfall mostly in Annapurna region it is very much clear to trek around Mustang by summer time because of altitude you can skip the rain if you go those areas., so ,Everest, Langtang and Annapurna are always comfortable to trek even in winter season.
Experience & Fitness:
You should be fit enough to make those trekking because it is situated on quite high region however certain training like running, walking, exercising, balance diet all those things definitely will help to make it easily this trek.
Mountain sickness and Acclimatization:
Altitude sickness is a significant risk when trekking on any trails above about 2,500m. However good health, proper care and drinking plenty of water will definitely help you to prevent from altitude sickness. Every trekkers needs to be familiar with the heights so, for this we have life saving acclimatization days during the trek, peak climbing and expedition. We also provide certain medical support for your relief and emergency rescue through helicopter whenever guest require.
