Day by Day Itinerary

After we enjoy breakfast at a Pokhara hotel, we will take a private transport to Nayapul (1075 m), which is a 42 km journey and takes around 1 Hrs.15 minutes. From there, we will begin our trek for the first day. We will follow the Nayapul bazaar to the east side, where we will be greeted with a deep valley, the Modi River, and stunning views of the Himalayan farming landscape. This day's trek will take around 4 hours, during which we will pass by rivers, terraced fields, and traditional houses, as well as have the opportunity to observe the local villagers. We will spend the night at Ghandruk.

By the end of the day, we arrive at the community lodge in Upper Chistibung where we spend the night, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.

Today, we embark on a challenging but rewarding journey to reach the stunning Khopra Danda. After fueling up with breakfast, we set out on the trail that takes us above the tree line. This section of the trail is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife, including the elusive Himalayan Thar and the beautiful Danfe bird. The climb to Khopra Danda can be strenuous due to the altitude and steep incline, but we encourage you to take your time and rest whenever you need to. By midday, we will have arrived at Khopra Danda where you can check into your accommodation.

The ridge offers stunning views of Annapurna South (7219m), which is just 6 km away, as well as several other mountains such as Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and the breathtaking Kali Gandaki valley. The day concludes with an overnight stay at the Khopra Danda Community Lodge.

On today's adventure, trekkers are presented with two options to choose from, each offering a unique and captivating experience. For the physically fit trekkers, there is the beautiful Khair lake, located at 4,600 meters above sea level. This hike requires a journey of 9 to 10 hours, with no tea houses or amenities in between, making it ideal only for those who are in excellent shape.

For those seeking a more leisurely trek, there is the charming village of Thanti, located at an altitude of 4210 meters. This trek takes approximately 6 hours round-trip from Khopra ridge and is surrounded by natural beauty and the occasional Yak herders. It is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindu devotees, who flock to the area each year in July and August to celebrate the Janaipurnima festival. The trail begins with a steep downhill descent, passing through verdant farmlands and quaint villages. As we traverse the path, we will cross several suspension bridges that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

After passing through Chitre village, home to the majestic Magar and Poon communities, the trail will start to ascend steeply. We will have to climb up the stone-made steps that take us to the popular trekking destination of Ghorepani. This beautiful village is surrounded by stunning mountain ranges and offers an unrivaled panorama of the surrounding peaks.

Ghorepani is a popular destination for trekkers and is known for its scenic beauty and the incredible views it offers of the surrounding mountains. We will spend the night in a comfortable lodge in Ghorepani, rejuvenating ourselves for the next leg of our journey.

Today we will have an early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m), one of the most famous viewpoints in the Annapurna region. From here, we will be able to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the majestic Himalayas, including the stunning views of Annapurna South (7,219 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), and many others.

After spending some time taking in the views and capturing memories, we will then start our descent back down to Ghorepani. After having breakfast, we will then begin our trek to Hille Thikhedunga (1,560 m).

The trail will be steeply descending through the terraced fields, small villages, and dense forests. During the hike, we will cross several suspension bridges and streams, and we might encounter some local people and their daily activities.

We will reach Hille in the late afternoon, and we will spend the night in a local teahouse. The scenery here is beautiful, and we will be surrounded by the lush vegetation and the serene atmosphere of the lower elevations of the Annapurna region.

Today we will begin our journey by hiking down to Nayapul, which is the starting point of the trek. The trail will take us through beautiful terraced fields and small villages, providing us with an opportunity to witness the rural lifestyle of the locals. Upon reaching Nayapul, we will take a short break and then drive to Pokhara, which is a beautiful city located on the banks of Phewa Lake. The drive will take around 1-2 hours, passing through lush green forests and rolling hills.

I found one recommend travel agency freelance guide and a director Mr. Gauli. I talk to him and he just sent me all the trip details including the itinerary and price, I compare also the price with a travel agency in Nepal, but Gauli gave me a reasonable price and I trek with them. They provide me a guide, Santu who have guided me to Khopra he explains to me a lot about Nepal and Khopra trek, I really had a wonderful time in the Himalayas of the Annapurna region. we had just a magical view all the time, especially from Khopra ridge. I wish I will come back very so and trek another beautiful trek Mardi Himal. However, Khopra trekking is more natural, peaceful, and one of the best trekking routes in Nepal.
