Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.

I will provide youa comfertable car/jeep to pick ups you and if you are happy if I pick ups you my self i will be there in airport with your name to pick ups you than I will drop you to your respective Hotel. when you checked in to the hotel you can have some rest and we can remeet for trip discussion and payments than we are prepared for the trip. over night at kathmandu Hotel.

DAY 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

We going to go to pokhara by tourist standard bus which leaves from Kantipath  Jamal, kathmandu. After we finished our breakfast at the hotel we will go to bus station before 7 am. The drive will be so Scenic and green lush valley view most of the time. you will enjoy entire driving hour which about 7 hours to reach at pokhara. once we reach in pokhara still we will have soem time so if you are happy to explore around we can walk along the lake and explore pokhara by foot.

DAY 3: Drive to Phedi and trek to Pothana.

We will get our breakfast in the hotel and drive to phedi by private vechicles , it is about 18 km drive to the west of pokhara than we will reach at Phedi , it is where we begin our walking towards beautiful Dhampus village. when we start tpo walk from phedi we have to follow the small trail which is stone made steps straight up till dhampus village which is about 2 hours walk. There will be wonderful landscapes, valley view , traditional houses along the way dhampus is a massif gurung and other mixed ethnicities village. when we pass dhampus village  the rail will be smoth up which is easy and the best part because you can see all annaputna range mountain view to the north direction. we will walk about another 2 hours to reach at Pothana. Over night at Pothana. Pothana is a small area agot only 7 lodges but it is situated on the top of mountain it means we can see a best panorama view.

DAY 4: Trek from Pothana to Ghandruk.

After hot and healty breakfast from local lodge at pothana we start to walk to reach at this days destination Ghandruk. it is 6 hours walk but within 6 hours we will be exploring so many things because the walking route going through traditional houses,Terrace paddy and millet field, temples, waterfalls, river, suspension bridge and snow cam mountain view to the right direction.  the walking route will be steply up at the begining from Pothana till Pitam Deurali, which is located at 2100 m than trails descending staright thught the forest about 15 minute and countinue follow the off road to Landruk. landruk is a massief Gurung village where we will stop for lunch and countinue down to the river and staright up to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a biggest gurung village in kaski district and popular village for annapurna trek. there are many gurung people who are working as a soldiers in UK , and India. Over night at Ghandruk village.

Day 5: Trek to Tadapani (2600 m).

We begin our day after breakfast as usal and folow the small rail to the north side of ghandruk . The first 1 hour walk going to be gradually up through the tropical forest and waterfalls. It is short walking Day but it is a day , we might see some wild animals such as Deers, Langoor Monkey, Thar and many colourful Bird. the walking trail will be graduale about an hour than climbing up to Bhaishikharka, where we can have some rest or cup of Tea than countinue up to Tadapani though the Forest. Tadapani is small area got only 7 small tea house but it is situated on top of the hill. the view of Annapurn south and Fistail will be insane fro the yard of your Lodge.

DAY 6: Trek to Ghorepani(2820m), 

It is slightly hard day because most of the time we have to walk up through the forest and moose decorated mountains around but it is one of the best day to explore high mountain, open and clear panoram view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range, pine forest and some wild animals. The first and last 30 minute of day 6 will be descending but rest of the time about 4 to5 hours w have to climb through the rhododendron forest and pine forest. When we reach at Ghorepani the view will be still there all around especially in the morning the view from Ghorepani will be unbelievable .  Over night in the lodge.

DAY 7: Hike to poon hill (3210m) and trek to Hille(1560m). 

Day 7th is the main day of this trip because you will be on top of poon hill view tower which is located at 3210 m and the view of many mountains will be easily seen from there plus a clear sky in the early morning. It is about 50 minute steep climb but such a heaven when you are there. After wonderful views we go back to the Ghorepani hotel via same way than eat some food than descending straight to Hille about 5 hours through the forest and some Magar villages. Over night stay in the local lodge.

DAY 8: Trek to Nayapul (1075m) and drive to Pokhara (960m).

It is last walking days of this trek and also it is easy walking day because there is nice road and short distance about 3 hours walk only so after Nayapul we get private taxi /jeep and back to Pokhara hotel. Overnight in Pokhara and relax near the Phewa Lake with some drink and Tea.

DAY 9: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, 

After breakfast in Pokhara hotel we will take early bus to Kathmandu from Rastrabank chok which is 30 minute walk from lake side area and 10 minute drive by taxi. It is whole 7 hours drive to Kathmandu including two stop for food. Overnight  at Kathmandu Hotel

DAY 10: Departure 

I will drop you by private car/jeep to you to the airport at punctual time you fly.

There are so many different trekking and travel company who organize all trekking and touring activities in Nepal and they have their own strategy and price but the fact of the trek is the same so if you are in Nepal to make Everest base camp trekking and if you are alone it cost comparatively more than groups, in general for solo trekkers Kathmandu to Kathmandu 12 days Everest base camp trek cost 1299 USD and if you are two person going there cost 1199 USD. If you are budget travelers still you can save some money with this cost but this price is just enough to do all activities during your 12 days time up to the mountain. I you have more than 8 people in your group one get free trip while you are in Nepal except your domestic flights.

What is the maximum weight for porter in Nepal ?

Nepal tourism board published some rules and regulation for porters who used to work generally with tourist they carry 25 kg , so in general you will get one porter for two trekkers it means one trekkers need to make their weight about 12.5 kg and if you have extra cloths, or any extra things that you brought from your country you can leave in hotel locker in Kathmandu once you are back you will get it, it is safe.

What  is the maximum weight can I take to Lukla in a plane ?

Flying to Lukla we will be ina small plane whereas just 14  to 16 people in one plane it is small this is why there is short of strict rules need to be just 15 kg per person as a luggage and small day bags as a hand carry you can take with you. if you have any extra thiongs in your bag you can leave in Kathmandu hotel before you leave than it helps a lot to repack and to follow the rules. Still after repacking your bag have more than 15 kg you have to pay 5 USD per kg than you can fly in or out.

How much to I need to tip fir guide and porter ?

Tipping things is not a compulsory but it is highly expected from field staff during your trek in Nepal such as, waiter Driver, Guide  porters. Mainly if you are in Nepal and doing more than week trip with guide or with porter you can tip about 100 USD for guide and 80 USD for porter but if they make your especial trip with lots of information take caring and you feel safe all the time with them than you can add more tip on top of that.
