Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu airport. pick up you and transfer to your hotel by private vehicle.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla(2860M) and trek to Phasing village(2660M). overnight in the Pahakding village.

Day 3: Trek to Namche(3450M), it is a beautiful day we walking through fine Forest, River, Suspension Bridges and first eye contract with mt Everest before you reach to Namche.it is about 6 hours walking. overnight in Namche Bazar.

Day 4: Rest day in Namche Bazaar,

Day 5: Trek to Tengboche(3890m), It is about 5 hours walking passing some sherpa house, majestic view of Amadablam and Thamsherku including Everest. overnight in Tengboche.

Day 6: Trek to Dingboche(4360m), It is also about 5 hours walking but the landscape will be even easier to walk only you need to walk slower cause of altitude. overnight in Dingbuche hotel.

Day 7; Acclimatizing day and Peak preparation,

Day 8; Trek to Island peak base camp with climbing guide and helper. overnight in Island peak base camp.

Day 9: You will get the general climbing idea and raining from your climbing Guide and about midnight you start to climb and in the morning around 7 am you are already back to base camp. and head down to Chhukung or Dingboche it depends how tired you are. It is also your farewell dinner night with your climbing guide and he expects also tip after doing that adventure.

Day 10: Trek to Namche Bazar, it is about 7 hours easy walking mostly descending and relief walk back to Namche where you can get the drink, bar, coffee and many new friends around. overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 11: Trek to Lukla t is the same way what you took way up and it's about 7 hours walking and the final adventure day of your trip so by the evening time your guide and porters will expect good tip list 10 % of total and farewell dinner.

Day 12: Fly back to Kathmandu in the morning and transfer yet o your hotel.

Day 13: Departure day or if you want you to stay sometime as per your interest but give you drop services whenever you ready to leave.

Essential Infos

1. Mountain Accommodation:

Rooms are based on 2 people generally sharing a twin bed in one room, it is safe and clean but you have to use bathroom services outside of your room.

It is really important that you have to understand that the accommodation during your trekking will be very basic but clean and safe.

2. Best months in a year to trek?            

There are two main trekking seasons Sep. to Dec. and Feb 15 to April is the best because by that time you can easily explore beautiful mountain every day because of clear weather each day in Nepal, However, you can make your trip all year. around Nepal.

3. Food in the mountain

When we start our trek in the mountain, we can have typical Nepalese foods and also continental, Tibetan, Italian, Indian soon it means each settlement serve you many different foods on your choice and the foods are fresh and organic most of the places.                                                                                                                                  
When you arrive in Kathmandu you can have breakfast at your hotel and when you are in trekking you will get breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the hotel menu each settlement so as a guide since 13 years I suggest you to have vegetable foods most during your trek in the mountain and also less friend food will help you a lot to be strong to walk each day.

4. Physical Condition & Experience Requirements:

Mount Everest Base Camp Trek is a moderate trek suitable for passionate walkers who have the ability to walk at least 4-7 hours a day with a light rucksack. In some days we might even need to walk for 7 to 8 hours. Walking in higher altitudes is more physically demanding than walking in the lower altitudes; however, if we are in excellent health with average physical fitness, have a positive attitude and strong determination, we can accomplish the trek successfully. Exercising and jogging regularly for some weeks prior to the trip is a good idea to enhance our strength and stability. Past hiking experience would be an asset but no technical skill is required for this trip. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases should inform Himalayan Glacier before booking the trek. We also recommend that you consult your doctor(s) before the trip             

5. What is altitude sickness?                                           

Mountain high altitude sickness occurs when you cannot get enough oxygen while you are in the high region over 3000 meters basically. The main symptoms of mountain sickness are a headache, lack of sleep, you don’t really feel hungry, nausea, dizziness, if you are in the critical situation you might get some blood bleeding from your nose and your cough will be really dry.

When some people who are not used to the high altitude and if he/she go fast from low altitude, in that case, you might get altitude sickness easily because your body can’t exit rapidly that high so quick. So for altitude sickness can be the descending the main medicine and warm drinking water helps you a lot, as well as you, need to keep your warm body and drink as much as possible that helps a lot.

6. What to take with you for trekking?

What is the maximum weight for the porter in Nepal?

Nepal tourism board published some rules and regulation for porters who used to work generally with tourist they carry 25 kg , so in general you will get one porter for two trekkers it means one trekker need to make their weight about 12.5 kg and if you have extra clothes or any extra things that you bought from your country you can leave in hotel locker in Kathmandu once you are back you will get it, it is safe.

What is the maximum weight can I take to Lukla in a plane?

Flying to Lukla we will be in a small plane whereas just 14  to 16 people in one plane it is small this is why there is short of strict rules need to be just 15 kg per person as a luggage and small day bags as a hand carry you can take with you. if you have any extra things in your bag you can leave in Kathmandu hotel before you leave than it helps a lot to repack and to follow the rules. Still, after repacking your bag have more than 15 kg you have to pay 5 USD per kg than you can fly in or out.

How much do I need to tip for guide and porter?

Tipping things is not compulsory but it is highly expected from field staff during your trek in Nepal such as waiter Driver, Guide porters. Mainly if you are in Nepal and doing more than week trip with guide or with porter you can tip about 100 USD for guide and 80 USD for porter but if they make your special trip with lots of information take caring and you feel safe all the time with them than you can add more tip on top of that.
