Traveling in Nepal requires a degree of flexibility, good humor, and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation, and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced. This can be without warning due to local weather conditions, landslides, flight delays, road blockages, flooding, snow, political unrest, or delayed arrival. We are unable to refund any money in these conditions but will do our best to provide alternative arrangements in this instance. We do not accept any liability for any losses incurred in these circumstances as these situations are beyond our control.

3.5 If the person who made the booking is unable to travel due to injury, death, or family circumstance the booking may be transferred to another person.

4. Liability

Nepal Everest Guide acts as an intermediary between transportation and airline, train companies, hotels, tourist offices, and all other contractors providing the services and as such is not liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disasters, political action, and unrest must be borne by passengers. Participation in our promotional trips implies the tourist’s agreement to the above. No rain cheques or compensation will be given for non-attendance, rain, or canceled activities. Meals not taken are not refundable.

5. Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory for all clients and should cover personal injury, medical expenses, death, helicopter rescue, repatriation, luggage, theft, or cancellation. Please ensure your insurance covers any activity that you intend to participate in during your visit.

6. Warranty

Nepal Everest Guide is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage the traveler suffers during or in connection with the journey, nor for itinerary modifications due to circumstances beyond Nepal Everest Guide’s control.

9. Documentation

A passport is required, valid for six months beyond your tour departure date. A visa is required for all nationalities apart from those with an Indian passport.

Most of the nationalities can get a Nepal visa on arrival, but few countries can only get a Visa from the Nepalese Embassy or Consulate.

If you get your visa on arrival in Kathmandu, you will need the correct visa fee in US$ and a passport-sized photograph (please see http://www.immi.gov.np/visa/provisional-visa-arrangement-fee for up to date visa fees and forms).

Both a valid passport and an appropriate visa (including cost) are the sole responsibility of the client.
