Here trekkers can relax by the riverside, bathing in the thermal waters and now that pool is being really clean and systematic compared to last 10 years. You then follow the Kali Gandaki valley to Kagbeni, the gateway to the Upper Mustang trekking region and experience an area that used to be part of Tibet. After this, you reach Muktinath (meaning God of Nirvana) a place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Buddhists alike. The sacred temples here have 108 waterfalls flowing from dragons mouths and natural gas fires in the monasteries. In the summer months, there are many festivals here where the local men compete on horseback and demonstrate their riding skills racing through the village streets. From here it is downhill to Jomson, the trek ends here, you can then fly or take a bus to Pokhara.
