The Annapurna Siklish Trek is a relatively easy short camping/homestay trek in the North-West Annapurna region. This is an area that is not frequented often by tourists so offers delightfully peaceful trails off the beaten track. Siklish trek has amazing views over the entire Annapurna Range including Machapuchhare (Fishtail Mountain), Lamjung Himal, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, beautiful Gurung villages, terraced fields, alpine meadows and Rhododendron forests. The area is rich in birdlife and Culture as the Gurung people farm the area in ways that have barely changed over the past two hundred years.

This is an excellent way to explore the Annapurna region for those who are not very experienced trekkers. 

Annapurna Siklish trek Outline Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (900m)- 7 hrs drive

Day 3: Pokhara to Kalikasthan(1370m)

Day 4: Trek from Kalikasthan to Lamakhet (1680m),

Day 5: Trek from Lamachaur to Siklish- 6 hrs walking

Day 6: Explore Siklish and trek to Neuli Kharka or Forest camp(2200M)- 6 hrs walk

Day 7: Chipli to Ghale Gaon(village)(2000m)- 5 hours walk

Day 08: Ghale Gaun to Pokhara(900m),

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu(1350m)

Day 10: Airport departure


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.

It is your day to explore the city, After your breakfast in your hotel, We will come to pick up you with an experienced tour guide who will Take you for a city tour to explore the old Art, temples, museum, Hindu temples and Stupa.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (900m)- 7 hrs drive

We going to leave at 7 am from Kathmandu kantipath Jamal by tourist standard bus to Pokhara. it is about 7 hours drive via Prithibi highway along Trisuli river. The bus will stop twice a time for a lunch break and rest. The entire time we are going through the beautiful flat land, terrace field, big green hills and some rivers. Once we reach Pokhara bus park we will provide a private car/jeep to your hotel near the lake where you can stay overnight.

Day 3: Pokhara to Kalikasthan(1370m)

We will have private transport from Pokhara hotel to Bijayapur Khola which is about 4 hours drive than We start to walk through the paddy field In to the valley than the walking path leads you to Rakhigaon than yo h at Chautara,it is such a lovely area for rest and panorama view of mountains and fields after passing this resting place we walk slowly up towards Brahmin and Chhetries community than trails continue leads you to Kalikasthan where you going to spend your night. It is a beautiful area located at 1370 m.

Day 4: Trek from Kalikasthan to Lamakhet (1680m),

Your hike starts after your breakfast at the lodge than we walk through the beautiful terrace field and we follow the river bank of Mardi Khola. It is gentle slope up walk passing some mix of ethnic communities, lush green valley view, and traditional people along the way. After 2 to 3 hours walking we will pass Nuwaldanda and Bhaise than we will arrive at our destination for the day to sleep. It is about 5 hours a gentle walking day.

Day 5: Trek from Lamachaur to Siklish- 6 hrs walking

We begin our walk from the flat path in the morning after we take our breakfast then we follow small trails leads us to the bank of rivers for a couple of hours than we walk slightly uphill for a while till Khilan Gaun than steep up to the ridge of the hill and we have to also pass Parju village which is a beautiful place to see magnificent views and valley to the south. After reaching there we still need to ascent steeply to Siklish which is large Gurung community residency area where most of the young generations serving in UK and India as an army. Overnight in Siklish lodge.

Day 6: Explore Siklish and trek to Neuli kharka or Forest camp(2200M)- 6 hrs walk

It is your lovely walking day to experience the nature, flora, and fauna. The path going through the forest of Rhododendron and oak most of the time. We walk some steeps through the forest and green lush nature. Forest camp is one of the best areas to conquer the mountains and nature which is located in the middle of the forest. Overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 7: Chipli to Ghale Gaon(village)(2000m)- 5 hours walk

When we weak up nature is teaching you such massif mountains are just nearby you. We start to walk slowly up at the beginning than after some time we trek steeply up to the high hill top which is the highest point of this trek till that pass we walk up then straight down through the forest to beautiful village Ghale Gaon. This village is inhabited by Tamang and Gurung people. We spent one night there with local people in their Lodge.

Day 08: Ghale Gaun to Pokhara(900m),

It is our easy walking day we just decent through the villages and terrace field. We going to walk about 2 to 3 hours easy walk than we reach at Hemja which is 20 minutes away from Pokhara so once we reach Hemja we will have private transport than we go to Pokhara and stay overnight there and celebration after doing such a great adventure in the Himalaya.

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu(1350m)

We will get early bus drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes 7 hours through Prithibi highway along Trisuli Rivers. Once we reach Kathmandu last bus station we will drop you at your hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu hotel.

Day 10: Airport departure

We will drop you to the airport on time ad sadly bye for this time but high expectation your recommendation d revisit us.
